Looks like we made it....

Thanks Barry Manilow for those great words.
Baby Salter has officially made it to V-Day.
Viability Day.
What does this mean to us?
It means that should any complications arise during the remainder of the pregnancy, our little one could officially survive outside of my womb. As each week goes by the chances of survival without long term concerns for the child increase dramatically.
This is a day that many women who have suffered through complications early on, pray for.
This is a day that I have prayed for, especially after our visit to the ER at 15 weeks, now 10 weeks ago.
By no means is our baby ready to make their debut...they are welcome to stay right where they are for another 15 weeks. ( Note to BABY S...if you are fully cooked...feel free to come out up to 2 weeks early...as long as you are given the green flag from the doctors, mommy is a-ok with this.)
Tomorrow is my last second trimester appointment. Our next midwife visit will be the first of our third trimester visits. HOLY COW!
In just a few weeks, birthing classes and baby care classes begin.
I wonder to myself, will Jimmy be the class clown? Probably so. He wouldn't be Jimmy if he didn't search out a few laughs.
Update to follow tomorrows Midwife appointment. Hopefully, all of my labs came back clear and we have no BP or sugar concerns from here on out.
