I said SHAKE, RATTLE, And ROLL.....shake, rattle and roll

What an active baby I have in my belly.

He/She didnt allow mommy much sleep last night. This is the most active Baby S has been so far. If I rolled to my right, the baby bopped me in my right side. If I rolled to my left, the baby rolled right along to the left and let me know I shouldnt lay there either.
At one point this morning, Jimmy tucked Molli into our bed. She put her head near my belly and the baby whacked her. She tilted her head, in her normally perplexed fashion, and looked at me, like "what in the world was that?" My dog is absolutely aware of the fact that there is something/someone in my belly.

Too bad that Daddy still does not feel Baby S move. Actually, I think Jim isnt yet interested in placing his hands on my growing belly. But, I dont think that makes him a bad dad to be. Maybe in a few weeks when the kicks become more prominent, he will want to feel the baby move more often.

We start our Childbirth class and baby basics next week. I am wondering what in the world will take up 8 hours of our time for childbirth class. Baby Care is just 4 hours.
I have had alot of people ask me why I am going to Baby Care class. UMmmm...I dont have any idea how to take care of a newborn, and neither does Jimmy. Yes, it will mostly "come naturally" but I am not sure how to bathe a newborn with its umbilical cord intact. For goodness sake, I had to turn Chase's diaper around twice this weekend to find the front, and I had no idea which bottles worked for which reason. A little education never hurt anyone, right?

Tonight, Amanda L. And Joline and I are headed to justlikenewkids sale for some mommy-to-be bargains. I am greatly looking forward to the sale. I always enjoy my time with my friends that are also pregnant. I feel like everything I talk about revolves aroung being pregnant, and that I might generally annoy my non pregnant friends. The poor girls that I share my lunch with every day at work have to listen to my aches and pains and likes and dislikes every day.
