A Little Thank you note to the big man

Dear God:

Thank you.
I know that I don't say that enough to you.
Thank you for giving me two wonderful parents.
Thank you for allowing at least 3 of my grandparents to live long enough to make an impact on my life.
Thank you for placing Jeff Jones across the street from our house. He taught me lessons no one else would have ever been able to teach me.
Thank you for English Center Store and Pine Creek.
Thank you for widening the circle of my family enough that I would have not just Aunts and Uncles and cousins to learn from and enjoy, but Great Aunts and Uncles and Second cousins. The family you placed me in was a good choice.
Thank you for giving me good friends. Thank you for plopping Harry onto my parents doorstep. He had much more patience teaching me how to drive than my parents would have. Thank you for making my parent's circle of friends strong and wide and welcoming enough to become my family.
Thank you for allowing me to make huge mistakes and wander far away from you, and still you forgive me, offer me grace, and remind me that you never have had a need to "take me back" that you have always been there.
Thank you for NOT answering all of my prayers. I can't imagine where I would be if you would have said YES all of the time.
Thank you for Jim. Thank you for making him someone that has his own voice and does not allow me to walk all over him, or heaven forbid walk away from him. Thank you for making him strong in the areas that I am not. Thank you for making him patient, because you and I know sometimes he has to exercise it ALOT with me.
Thank you for his family.
Thank you for allowing me to see the world. Thank you for not making my parents too afraid to let me go.
Thank you for Camp Susque.
Thank you for White Pine Church.
Thank you for placing me into a great job.
Thank you for the roof over my head and the flowers in my front yard.
Thank you for Maya, Hazel, and Molli.
Thank you for my Daybreak Family. Thank you for letting me grow some wings there that I may not have grown anywhere else.
Thank you for the life that you have placed inside of me. I promise to be a good mom.
