Before I got pregnant...I never thought

1. That morning sickness could even be close to THAT bad.
2. That I would EVER care THIS MUCH about someone I have never met yet.
3. That I would get pregnant this quickly.
4. That I was only born with one ovary.
5. That I would cry SO often.
6. That I would experience so many concerns.
7. That I would be this much of a worry wart
8. That I would look forward to something so much and be scared to death at the same time.
9. That I could go 40 weeks without gaining 50 lbs.
10. That pregnancy was really 40 weeks....10 months!
11. About how amazing my parents will be as grandparents.
12. About how hard it was to be my parents and about how grateful I am for the job that they did.
13. That so many strangers would see my private parts and that I would just get used to it ( no weird jokes, please)
14. That so many of my guy friends would want to touch my belly.
15. That I would think about the future of our planet so much more.
16. That I would become obsessed with reading The Bump and parenting magazines.
17. That I would think this hard about who I would or would not leave my baby with.
18. That I could ever miss my grandmother more than I did on my wedding day.
19. That I would become so in tune with my own body.
20. That my body could do such an amazing feat.
21. That I would get so tired so often.
22. That I would make mental notes about which of my friends parenting skills I want to emulate, and which ones I don't.
23. That I would worry so much about Jimmy not answering his cell phone when I go into labor.
24. That I would pee on a stick 3 times....just to be sure the results were right.
25. That I would be so afraid of losing something I have never held in my hands yet.
26. That I would spend hours reading reviews about the safety ratings of a stroller as opposed to choosing one based on what color it is.
27. That shaving my legs would become such a hard task.
28. About all of the worth-while sacrifices Jimmy and I will have to make.
29. That I would choose a night in by myself over a girls night out.
30. That the experience of becoming a mother would be this awesome!
