Run Run as fast as you can

Oh wait, thats the Gingerbread man, not the Gingerbread house.
Last year, I went crazy at Michaels end of year Christmas clearance and bought craft kits for this year.
Today, we made a Foam Gingerbread House.

Ya know, as I do crafts with my kiddo and really throw myself into them, I realize how relaxing they actually are and how much I Like doing them.
Our gingerbread house came with interlocking foam pieces( easy) and foam stickers.
Audrey enjoyed putting the candy on the house. I enjoyed sticking the shingles on and glueing.

We opened up our advent tree and it had the first of our Nativity Ornaments on it, one of the three wise men. I hung him on Audreys tree.

We talked about the 3 wisemen and the gifts that they brought to Jesus. Today's wisemen came with the gift of gold.
We read the scripture that goes along with the 3 wisemen and learned about the word Magi and talked about the star that led them to the manger.
I busted out Peter Pan, which I am pretty sure I have never watched in its entirety and we snuggled on the couch. What a perfect day....waiting for Christmas.
